Dr. John Hoggard
Dr. John Hoggard grew up in Greenville, NC, and is thrilled to live in Wilmington to be closer to his family and the beach. He’s married to Dr. Caroline Hoggard, his dental school sweetheart. Together, they are dedicated dental providers in Wilmington, NC, sharing the same practice philosophy of providing the highest quality dental care in a caring, supportive, and comfortable family atmosphere.
Our dentist is also passionate about treating complex cases and finds it extremely fulfilling to see the transformation of a patient’s smile and the huge impact on their life and well-being. His many hours of continuing education are a testament to his dedication of providing the most up-to-date, advanced, and individualized care for every patient.
Dr. Hoggard has completed numerous programs in advanced dental training. Annually, he attends a week-long training at the world-famous Kois Center. He’s also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has completed courses on occlusion, treatment planning, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, endodontics, oral surgery, and implants.
When away from the office, you can find Dr. Hoggard enjoying time with his wife and daughter Kennedy, engaging in many outdoor activities. He shares a love of all things fishing, hunting, surfing, kiteboarding, and boating.
However, since March 2023 the newest member of the Hoggard family, baby Audrey, has taken his attention and heart. A perfect family of four!
Dr. Caroline Hoggard
Dr. Caroline Hoggard is delighted to join her husband at Hoggard Family Dentistry. A native of North Carolina, she was raised in Hickory and is proud to call Wilmington her new home. As a dedicated dental provider in Wilmington, NC, she is committed to delivering exceptional care alongside Dr. John Hoggard.
Following dental school, Dr. Caroline completed a one-year residency program to advance her training and skills for treating complex dental cases. This extra year of education is a testament to her dedication to providing the best dental care.
She also strives to create the most comfortable and relaxing environment possible for her patients, and like Dr. John Hoggard, she’s committed to providing top-quality dentistry. Her goal is to treat patients like family, and she’s thrilled to carry on the legacy of Dr. Kenny and Dr. Vicki Morris who cared so well for the community over the last 30 years.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Caroline at the beach or spending time with her friends and family, including daughter Kennedy, and rescue cat Coco.
And since March 2023, their newest addition to the Hoggard family, baby Audrey. A perfect bundle of joy, adding her own excitement.
